At La Lettre Blanche, we are passionate about creating a positive impact with every book we publish. We believe in nurturing both minds and the planet, which is why we are committed to sustainable practices at every step. Through our partnership with Tree-Nation, we’ve taken concrete steps to give back to the environment by planting trees for each book purchase.

To date, we have proudly planted 50 trees in Madagascar as part of the Eden Reforestation Project. This initiative not only restores crucial mangrove ecosystems but also offsets 2,500 kg of CO₂ emissions, helping to combat climate change and support biodiversity. Each tree, such as the Rhizophora mucronata with its distinctive aerial roots, contributes to restoring habitats in coastal and estuary regions, ensuring a healthier environment for future generations.

Together, with each book you purchase, we are building a legacy of sustainability, supporting reforestation, and making a difference one page at a time. Thank you for joining us on this journey to protect our planet.

100% Recycled Paper

At La Lettre Blanche, we believe in creating timeless works that respect our planet. Each book is printed on sustainably sourced, 100% recycled paper from STP, designed to minimize environmental impact. By choosing this paper, we're helping reduce deforestation, conserve water, and lower carbon emissions with every print.

100% Reduction in Wood Consumption
Using recycled paper means we use 0 kg of wood compared to 4.308 kg for fresh-fibre paper. This choice helps preserve forests and reduces the need for deforestation, protecting vital ecosystems.

79% Less Water Usage
Recycled paper requires only 20.544 liters of water versus 100.7 liters for fresh-fibre paper. This results in a 79% reduction, conserving a precious resource and supporting global water sustainability.

73% Lower Energy Consumption
The energy required to produce recycled paper is just 6.974 kWh, compared to 26 kWh for fresh-fibre paper. This 73% reduction in energy use helps lower our carbon footprint and reduces the demand for energy-intensive processes.

42% Less CO₂ Emissions
By choosing recycled paper, we emit 1.118 kg of CO₂, a 42% decrease from the 1.942 kg generated by fresh-fibre paper. This reduction in emissions contributes to our fight against climate change, helping us to create a more sustainable future.
